Another highlight of the Sentosa Island is the S.E.A Aquarium (Southeast Asia Aquarium), which is one of the largest aquariums in the world. The main highlight of this place is that this aquarium is home to 49 different habitats which houses almost 100,000 marine animals of 800 species.

Each of these habitats has marine animals that are unique to that specific area. Some of the habitats that you would find here are Strait of Karimata & Java Sea, Strait of Malacca & Andaman Sea, Bay of Bengal & Laccadive Sea, Ocean Journey, Red Sea, Persian Gulf & Arabian Sea, South China Sea, East Africa, Shark Seas, etc. The aquarium also offers you the Open Ocean which is an experience that you would not forget. With a panoramic view, you would forget that you are in an aquarium and rather would feel like standing on an ocean bed. Some of the marine animals that you would be able to view here are saw fish, leopard shark, mahi mahi, goliath grouper and 50,000 more inhabitants.

Apart from the habitats, S.E.A has an ocean restaurant and a sea snack bar too. After you have viewed the beautiful aquarium, you can head to the gift shop to buy some S.E.A souvenirs and gifts for yourself and your loved ones.

  • Arrive at the S.E.A. Aquarium, located on Sentosa Island in Singapore.
  • Present pre-booked tickets for entry.
  • Begin your visit with the Ocean Journey, which takes you through different thematic zones showcasing diverse marine ecosystems.
  • Explore exhibits such as the Open Ocean, where you can witness majestic creatures like manta rays and sharks swimming overhead.
  • Take advantage of any up-close encounter experiences offered at the aquarium. These experiences may include feeding sessions, touch pools, or interactive presentations that allow you to learn more about specific marine species.
  • Explore the various exhibits and habitats within the aquarium, including tropical rainforests, coral reefs, and underwater tunnels. Observe a wide range of marine life, including colorful fish, seahorses, jellyfish, and more.
  • Check the schedule for any special shows or presentations happening at the aquarium. These shows often feature trained divers interacting with marine creatures and provide educational insights into their behaviors and conservation efforts.
  • Take some time to visit the educational displays and learn about the importance of marine conservation. Gain a deeper understanding of the threats facing our oceans and the steps being taken to protect marine life.
  • After exploring the various exhibits and enjoying the marine wonders, make your way to the exit and continue with your Sentosa Island or Singapore exploration.
SEA Aquarium 
  • Please bring a valid photo ID/passport with you as it is required to be displayed at the entrance.
  • Tickets are open dated but cannot be used directly at the venue. Pre slot reservation is required with the booking code received on the E - ticket
  • Recommended: Guests are requested to pre-book their slots minimum 72 hours in advance as the slots are subject to availability.
  • No Show policy: Failure to report on time will result in a No Show, and no rescheduling or refund will be provided.
  • Strollers and wheelchairs are available for rent at the park on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times for their safety and well-being.
  • Please provide the exact hotel address during the booking process for smooth arrangements (If transfers selected)
  • Transfer service will be available only from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm.

Nice Place to Explore

It was worth the time and price paid for the SEA aquarium. The baby sharks, jellyfish, starfish, and many other sea creatures in different shapes and colors were good to see from a close quarter.
